Power Macintosh

The Power Macintosh Series were first introduced in 1994, and is a family of personal computers designed by Apple.


Power Macintosh 6100

The Power Macintosh 6100 was introduced on January 3, 1995.

It has a PowerPC 601 CPU at 66MHz, with an optional 350 or 500MB Hard Drive.

Also, it has 4MB of Macintosh ROM with 8 or 16MB of 72-pin RAM, which is expandable to 136MB.

It can support dual displays using the HDI-45 or the DB-15 Port at a 1152 by 870 resolution.

Power Macintosh 7100

The Power Macintosh 7100 was introduced on January 3, 1995.

It has a PowerPC 601 CPU at 80MHz, with an 700MB Hard Drive.

Also, it has 4MB of Macintosh ROM with 8 or 16MB of 72-pin RAM, which is expandable to 136MB.

It can support dual displays using the HDI-45 or the DB-15 Port at a 1152 by 870 resolution.

Power Macintosh 5200

The Power Macintosh 5200 was introduced on April 3, 1995.

It has a PowerPC 603 CPU at 75MHz, with an 500MB Hard Drive.

Power Macintosh 7200

The Power Macintosh 7200 was introduced on August 7, 1995.

It has a PowerPC 601 CPU at 90MHz, with an 500MB Hard Drive.

Also, it has 4MB of Macintosh ROM with 8MB of 72-pin RAM, which is expandable to 512MB.

With the default 1MB of VRAM, this model can only support a single display at a 1152 by 870 Resolution; but with 2MB of VRAM, the Power Macintosh 7200 can support dual displays at a 1280 by 1024 Resolution.

Power Macintosh 8100

The Power Macintosh 8100 was introduced on November 3, 1994.

It has a PowerPC 601 CPU at 110MHz, with an 2GB Hard Drive.

Also, it has 4MB of Macintosh ROM with 24MB of 72-pin RAM, which is expandable to 264MB.

It can support dual displays using the HDI-45 port, which supports a 832 by 624 Resolution, or the DB-15 port, which supports a 1152 by 870 Resolution.
